SMS Pre-Verification

Update your SMS settings to automatically pre-verify all contacts and remove the verification requirement.

By default, Quickpage requires contacts to verify their phone number before they can receive SMS messages. You can change this setting so that all contacts are automatically pre-verified, removing that extra step from the process. Follow the steps below to update your SMS verification setting.

Step 1: Navigate to SMS Settings

SMS Settings are found near the bottom of the left menu bar, under the Setup category.

  1. From your Quickpage account, go to the left menu bar.
  2. Scroll down to the bottom until you see SMS Settings under the Setup category.
  3. Click SMS Settings.

Step 2: Update the Verification Setting

Once you're in SMS Settings, updating the verification preference takes just a few clicks.

  1. Locate the verification dropdown menu — it will default to Mandatory Verification.
  2. Click the dropdown and select All contacts are pre-verified for SMS communication.
  3. Check the confirmation box that appears.
  4. Click Confirm.

Going forward, all contacts in your account will be treated as pre-verified and will receive SMS messages without an additional verification step.
