How to Adjust Your SMS Template

Update your SMS greeting template so every text message you send through Quickpage reflects your preferred messaging.

Every time you send a Quickpage via SMS, it goes out with a default greeting message attached. You can customize this greeting to better match your communication style or brand voice. Follow the steps below to update it.

Step 1: Navigate to SMS Settings

SMS Settings are found near the bottom of the left menu bar, under the Setup category.

  1. From your Quickpage account, go to the left menu bar.
  2. Click More Options.
  3. Scroll down until you see SMS Settings under the Setup category.
  4. Click SMS Settings.

Step 2: Access the SMS Template

Once you're in SMS Settings, the greeting template is found under the SMS Integration tab.

  1. Click on the SMS Integration tab.
  2. Scroll down to find your current SMS template. It will show the default greeting message that is currently being sent with every SMS.

Step 3: Edit the Template

Update the greeting to something that feels more natural for how you communicate with customers.

  1. Click into the text field and update the greeting to whatever you would like it to say.
  2. Keep the message general enough to apply to any customer — avoid including specific names, vehicle details, or anything that would only make sense for one recipient.

Step 4: Save Your Changes

Once you're happy with the updated greeting, saving it takes one click.

  1. Click Save. Going forward, every SMS sent from your account will include your updated greeting.
